Apple Cider Pulled Pork Loin

This was our supper tonight!
Had some sliced pork loin thawed out, and was trying to decide what to do with it, ended up throwing it in the crock pot with some seasoning and it turned out so good!!!
We like to serve our bbq sauce on the side, so that the meat doesn't get drenched in the sauce.
Enjoy!

1 lb. sliced pork loin
salt & pepper
1/2 cup apple cider

Place ingredients in crock pot and cook on low for 6 hours.
Shred with fork. (it will be fall apart tender!)
This is just as good with out the bbq sauce too!

Here is a bbq sauce that has become a favorite in our house. It is from a recipe from Taste of Home, but I do it a little different than the original recipe says to do.

BBQ Sauce

1 cup ketchup

2 tablespoons plus 1-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons plus 1-1/2 teaspoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon plus 1-1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Combine ingredients in a small sauce pan.
Simmer on low until sugar is dissolved and is hot.
Serve with pulled pork.
