This is one of my absolute favorite cookies and they are so easy to make! Its hard to stop eating them!!! They are especially popular during the Christmas holidays, but don't let that stop you from making them now!
I managed to get a picture of the LAST cookie the last time I made them! lol They didn't last long!
1 cup butter (softened)
2/3 cup sugar
2 t. water
2 t. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Mix everything together; roll in balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 325 20 minutes.
Let cool and roll in powdered sugar. Store in air tight container.
