This is my favorite recipe for homemade ice cream! And of course its a tradition at our house....you ALWAYS have homemade ice cream for the 4th of July!:)
So here is my recipe that I got from my hubby's aunt Kathy.
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
8 ounces of cool whip (thawed)
2 1/2 T. vanilla flavoring
1/2 t. salt
1 sm. box instant vanilla pudding mix
7 cups whole milk
Beat eggs; add the rest of ingredients except the milk. Beat until thoroughly mixed.
Slowly mix in the milk.
Pour into your ice cream freezer and freeze according to your manufactures instructions.
Enjoy!
