This is my spin off of another recipe that I found in my WW magazine...wasn't pleased with the recipe, so added a few ingredients and came up with this recipe! Very yummy on a cold winter day! :)
3/4 lb. ground beef (lean) (I used 1/2 beef & 1/2 ground turkey)
1 cup chopped green & red peppers
1 cup salsa (I used hot, but can use whatever you like)
1 cup water
1 can black bean (rinsed & drained)
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 pkg. chili seasoning
Over medium heat, cook your beef & peppers until beef is browned.
Add the rest of ingredients.
Simmer on low until heated through.
Yields 4 servings (1 serving = 1 cup = 312 calories)
