I love these bar cookies and you can do a variety of things with them! I usually use heath bits, but you can use white or dark chocolate, and kind of nuts, and for Holidays try using candied cherries for a festive look!
These disappeared before I could take a picture, but wanted to go ahead and share the recipe with you! :)
2 cups brown sugar
1 cup butter (softened)
2 eggs
2 t. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 t. salt
heath bits or your choice of topping..
Mix together everything except your toppings.
Pour into a lightly greased sheet cake pan and spread.
Sprinkle your choice of topping over batter and lightly press into batter.
Bake 350 for 25-30 minutes.
